I had a problem where the breaks where ceasing up ... little, the break pads where brushing against the dist. This problem started 1 year ago after a sand storm.
I went to Bridge motorcycles in Exeter, described the error, and they assured me it was normal. It was what?!?!?! That's right it was normal according to them. Despite me explaining to them that it did not do that a month ago. So I told them while they change the brake pads clean up the breaks, well that did not happend.
So time went by, and thousands of km later I went back to change tyres, and ask them to check the breaks again this time they charged me �20 to check the functionality of the breaks (witch I did not ask) with out even trying to locate the real problem or even cleaning the breaks. I was a bit disappointed but OK, they kept telling me it's normal.
More time went by, more km, and a hole new set of tyres. This time they come back very exited to tell me that I would need new break pistons for they have ceased up due to lack of maintenance. That little stunt would have cost me �650. I was a bit pissed about it not been found before despite me telling them to clean the breaks. They had no recollection of me requesting a break cleaning. How convenient.
